FLEET: Edmonds

Intersection of Humphries Ave and Rosewood St, Burnaby

March 15 & 16, 2025, from 10 AM - 4 PM both days

Join us for a pop-up exhibition of small quilts by the Pacific Spirit Quilters’ Guild. The Pacific Spirit Quilters' Guild promotes the education and enjoyment of quilting among the public. For three days, March 14-16, FLEET Edmonds will host a ‘pop-up’ quilt show, offering community an opportunity to engage with this local network of quilting experts and enthusiasts. The PSAG will also return to FLEET in April with a quilting workshop.

While most quilting shows highlight larger quilts, this show will focus on smaller quilts, reflecting on how the smaller format creates new opportunities for form, style, and function in traditional, modern, and contemporary quilting techniques.

The Pacific Spirit Quilters’ Guild (PSQG) is a small quilting guild that meets at the Burnaby Village Museum. They have been sharing their love of quilting in the Burnaby community for 32 years. Their community outreach includes quilt shows, exhibitions, workshops for people of all ages, and donation quilts for Burnaby Hospital NIC, Burnaby Meals on Wheels, St Michael’s Hospice, and Burnaby Family Life, etc. Learn more about the Pacific Spirit Quilters’ Guild at psgq.ca.
